Vanessa Holohan
CCRT BPhys BSc (Hons)

I have been working as a physiotherapist for 20 years in a variety of private practice clinics, on industrial sites and with sports teams. I began my undergraduate physiotherapy degree at The University of Sydney and completed it at UniSA in 2004. Prior to my physiotherapy degree, I completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours, at Flinders University of South Australia.

I have extensive experience in assessing and treating movement, strength, balance and coordination impairments, helping my human clients to recover and return to their favourite sports and activities. I have a passion to use these skills to help dogs in the same way. I recently enhanced my qualifications by completing a canine-specific rehabilitation certification course exclusively available to physiotherapists and veterinarians, through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in USA. This certification encompassed three hands-on training courses conducted interstate, involving assessments of numerous dogs of various breeds, coupled with two years of study. The final component of the certification was a 40-hour clinical internship, which I completed at a specialist canine rehabilitation clinic in Missouri, USA.
